Here is all the information you need to be aware of regarding Ariana Grande’s rumored boyfriend, Ethan Slater.
On Thursday (July 20), rumors that Ariana Grande had recently split from her husband Dalton Gomez, and was seeing her 31-year-old Wicked co-star Ethan Slater sent the entertainment industry into a frenzy.
According to TMZ and People, he and Grande began dating following the end of each of their previous relationships. Previously, Slater was wed to singer Lilly Jay, and the two were married for four years in November 2022.
In Jon M. Chu’s upcoming, two-part live-action film adaption of the Broadway play Wicked, Grande portrays Glinda opposite Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba. The original release date for the film was set for Christmas Day 2024 (Dec. 25). Wicked Part 1 will now be released on Thanksgiving (Nov. 27, 2024), in the spirit of giving gratitude.
Slater plays Boq, a munchkin boy who, fittingly, has a crush on Glinda, in the movie.
After two years of marriage, Grande and Gomez reportedly divorced earlier this week, according to TMZ. They tried to get back together before the rumored split but were unsuccessful. According to TMZ, People, and Entertainment Tonight, Grande and Gomez are still close friends and regularly communicate regularly over the phone.
